Who is responsible

Information processed by DashTrail

Depending on the features you enable, the app processes camera video, optional microphone audio, location and speed, date and time, and motion-sensor readings such as acceleration and G-force. These inputs are needed to record journeys, show live drive information, create Premium video overlays, detect possible incidents and provide Race Mode measurements.

App settings, Premium entitlement state and locally saved Race Mode records may be stored in the app's local storage.

Camera, audio and recorded media

Camera access is required for dashcam recording. Microphone access is optional and is used only when audio recording is enabled. Recordings are written to storage selected or managed by the user. FlevoApps does not automatically upload, view or receive those recordings.

Location and sensors

Precise location may be used while recording to calculate speed, show coordinates, add Premium overlays and measure GPS-based laps. Motion sensors may be used for G-force readings and experimental incident registration. Processing is performed on the device. Sensor and GPS results are estimates and are not certified measurements or emergency services.

Google Play purchases

Premium subscriptions are handled by Google Play. FlevoApps does not receive your card or bank details. The app may receive product, purchase-token, acknowledgement and entitlement information needed to unlock Premium and restore an active subscription. Google handles this information under its own privacy terms.

Advertising and consent

The free version may show a brief advertisement after you tap Start recording and before camera recording begins. Ads are not shown while a recording is active. If Google AdMob advertising is enabled, Google and approved advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, diagnostic information and ad interactions. Where required in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app will request advertising consent through a certified consent platform before eligible advertising requests are made.

Storage and deletion

Recordings remain until you delete them, move them, uninstall the app, or DashTrail replaces eligible old clips under your chosen loop-storage rules. Protected files should not be automatically removed by the loop process. Local preferences and records can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. Data controlled by Google Play or an advertising provider must be managed through that provider.

Sharing and international processing

FlevoApps does not sell your road footage or location history. Information may be processed by Google only when you use Google Play Billing, advertising or related Google services. Those providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards and policies.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera, microphone, notification and location permissions in Android settings, although relevant features will then stop working. You can disable optional audio, choose preview visibility, manage files and decide whether to purchase Premium. Advertising privacy choices can be reopened from the app when that feature is available.

Children and road safety

DashTrail is not directed to children. The app must be configured before driving and the phone must be mounted securely. Do not interact with the app while driving. Incident monitoring cannot guarantee detection or protection and is not a replacement for a dedicated safety or emergency system.

Changes and contact
