Free starts with fixed two-minute clips. Premium lets you choose clip duration and loop storage, with protected files kept safe.

How loop recording works

When your chosen loop limit is reached, DashTrail replaces only the oldest completed, unprotected DashTrail clip. Protected files are left alone.

Supported motion sensors can flag a possible impact and preserve context. Results are estimates—not emergency protection.

What happens after a possible impact?

On supported devices, a strong motion event can mark the clip as an incident and keep it from being removed by loop recording. You can review or delete it yourself.
